Frequently Asked Questions (Faqs) | 3D Models
1. General & Design Concept | 3D Models
What is the purpose of the 3D models on this page? We provide 3D interactive models and assets to give you a realistic, 360-degree view of our bespoke awards, trophies, and corporate gifts before they are manufactured. This ensures the physical product aligns perfectly with your expectations.
Can I request a custom 3D model for a unique award design? Yes, absolutely! If you have a concept, sketch, or brand guidelines, our in-house design team can create a custom 3D model tailored specifically for your event.
2. File Formats & Technical Details | 3D Models
What file formats do you support or provide? We typically work with and can provide industry-standard 3D formats including STL, OBJ, STEP, IGES, and FBX, depending on whether you need them for viewing, 3D printing, or further CAD refinement.
Are these models ready for 3D printing? Many of our geometric and custom trophy models are optimized as printable STL files. If you plan to 3D print prototypes yourself, please let our team know so we can ensure the mesh is manifold (water-tight) and scaled correctly.
3. Customization & Branding | 3D Models
Can we see our company logo and text engraved on the 3D model? Yes. During the design phase, we render your logos, text, and specific branding details directly onto the 3D mockup so you can see exactly how the final engraving or UV printing will look on the physical award.
Can the materials and colors be adjusted in the 3D preview? Definitely. We can adjust the digital materials to simulate different finishes such as crystal, acrylic, brushed gold, polished silver, wood, or matte resin, helping you choose the best look for your budget.
4. Ordering & Manufacturing Process | 3D Models
Do you charge for creating a 3D model of our award? Standard 3D modeling and rendering are usually included as part of our design and proofing process once an order or design deposit is placed. For highly complex or standalone industrial design requests, a separate design fee may apply.
How long does it take to receive a custom 3D rendering? Depending on the complexity of the design, a concept 3D model or digital proof is typically ready within 2 to 4 business days.
Will the final physical award look exactly like the 3D model? While 3D models and digital renderings offer an incredibly accurate representation of shape, proportion, and layout, slight variations may occur due to physical material properties, lighting conditions, and the manufacturing process (e.g., laser engraving vs. color printing).
